French language courses, which to go for, private/public, etc?

Question

Any recommends? I am aware that the VUB etc do three monthly courses that are quite cheap, though as I travel quite often I don't think this type will be suitable for me.

So ... can anyone recommend any private courses? Obviously these will be more expensive, but I guess that's the price I have to pay so I can adjust lessons to match when I'm in and out of the country. I'm currently looking at NTC, which is near me at Parc Cinquantenaire..
I've also heard about so called 'intensive' courses where you go away somewhere for a week or so and speak nothing but French, apparently. Does anyone know anything about these?

Thanks!

There are many teachers doing private courses too and they might be cheaper than taking it from an institution. For example, i took group classes at CEFR, but if i wanted private lessons, I think it was 40 euros the hour. You can find a bunch of private teachers on here:

Is just a matter of getting different lessons from different people to see which one you like best.

Also, you can google french immersion belgium or french immersion france and a few schools that do this come up. The cost for 5 days of immersion and lodging can be up to 3,000 euros.

Thanks for the advice.

Mais - 3000 euros, no thanks! For that price I'd expect to be lodged in a penthouse made of gold...

I opted for NTC in the end, for 30 euros an hour. Will see how it goes!
