When obtaining a garantie locative at a bank, when the landlord/lady has signed the form but is not present, does their identity have to be verified in any way?

When you open the account you must produce a copy of the landlord's ID card. A copy of the paperwork is then sent by your bank to the landlord.
To release the funds, the form must have original signatures.
