Garbage collection in Brussels
Since January 7, they have changed the system for collecting blue and yellow bags (plastic, metal and paper)in Brussels.
They are now collected every two weeks, a shame for Europe's capital and on a schedule impossible to memorize.
Am I the only one to think so ?

There's no need to memorize the schedule applicable to your address; all households received a letter before Christmas with the schedules. You just had to pick the one that was yours (not impossibly difficult). I cut mine out and sticky taped it near the rubbish bin. Anyway, even if someone has thrown away the letter it's easy to print the schedule for their exact address from http://www.bruxelles-proprete.be/Content/Calendrier/indexFR.html.
There have been some teething problem of course; in my neighborhood the concierge of one big apartment building dumped all blue and yellow bags outside on a day of the week that has NEVER been the day for their collection. The week after he did it correctly.
