Hairdresser

Hi everyone, I have thick curly hair and I would like to do a "defrisage" to relax my curls, I do not want to straighten my hair! I only want to make it more manageable. I have been to a few places but they always want to straighten my hair which is quite annoying, can anyone recommend a good professional who will listen and do a good job? English speaking please.
