Halloween Overijse
I was super excited to see the trick or treating to happen again in Overijse, but was wondering if anybody reading this question has access to the people doing it. If so, could you please pass on the message:
1. It is hard to transfer the money (my bank won't allow it) without a company or name.
2. The price has risen significantly (versus dropping off candy). In the past, we could just drop off candy or pay less. I understand the fund raising aspect, but could that not be voluntairy. It is making it more of a rich/ expat person thing than that open to all. While not an issue to me (one child), a close family (missionaries) with four wonderful kids will not be able to participate as 56 euros is a significant amount for them.
Thank you again for the hard work- but wanted to be able to give a little feedback...
Hi,
Being new to Brussels, a friend of mine just asked me if I wanted to join her for this event. I had no idea such a fee was involved but on the related website it is mentioned that 2 euros will go to a charity.
See http://www.halloweenoverijse.be for more info.
Here is an email address that was included in the message I received.
Good luck.
