Help! Working in other EU countries with Type A Card Etudiant

I am a student with a Type A Carte Sejour Limite. Can I work in other European countries with this kind of card for opportunities such as internships, summer jobs, etc.? These would only be temporary jobs and I understand that the employer would likely have to approve of my stay but does my card entail that this is something I can do?
