How long does a Composition de Menage last for?

Question

Hi all,
In the midst of school registrations and have been told i need a composition de menage certificate from the commune. I have one from Feb when we first arrived - will that do, do you think, or do i need to head back to the commune for a more recent one?

Check the document - it may well have a validity on it.
Otherwise, ask the school.

As a general rule official documents produced in Belgium are valid for 3 months and those produced outside the country are valid for 6 months.

You'll get it immediately. They have it in the system and will just print it for you. You'll need the ID cards of the family members
