Question

Hello,
I have inherited money in the UK but have not paid the inheritance tax over there as I am based over here. The monies are on a UK account. I am resident here in Belgium. Should I pay inheritance tax over here? If so, how do I go about it and what is the percentage.

In Belgium inheritance tax is due on the estate from a person resident in Belgium or having property here.
No belgian death duties on receiving money from a non resident deceased.
