Internal tracked packet question

Question

Hi all, had to send something to the UK via bpost international tracked letter last week. Sent it on Friday but since then all it shows online is passed to international delivery and a time on Friday. Has anyone used this service? Will I be able to trace it after? It wasn't clear to me that this item would vanish once it left Belgium when I paid my six euro thirty three for one letter. Is there any chance to see where it is in the UK? It's a birth certificate demanded my hm gov to reissue my sons passport long story. So I need to ensure it arrives. I had hoped it would be able to be viewed online but does anyone think that two day is a long time even for the British post office to deliver a first class letter they received? Will it show when it's recieved? Anyone know?

It will be tracked but once it has left Belgium you need to track it on the next country's mail system, so in this case, Royal Mail or whatever they call themselves now. That normally works for me on international tracking. Good Luck, especially with the passport service!

Hi Abc well it disappeared from the system apparently left Belgium on 31st wasn't traceable anywhere then (after the weekend). Was not picked up by the UK system at that point. It still had not surfaced or appeared in any system by the Tuesday night I was really freaking out. The next day still showed on Bpost as left no further info anywhere. I rang them on the Wednesday to be told it's been delivered today. Bpost told me to use a Russian mail tracker website to see this. Because the Russian see it all apparently! Who knew? Any rate it appeared in the UK but not till 48 hours after it left Belgium apparently they felt that it was a normal delivery time.
