We had a terrible time with belgacom when we had an apt in the maria luise area of brussels, close to schuman.

They were recommended to us, but the technician whoever did the installation, didn't do it right, and as a result, we had constant outages. However, to get this fixed, we had to pay an extra fee of around 100 euros to Belgacom and for them to fix it, it took one week, where they completely disconnected our internet.

We moved, got numericable, and they do have outages, but they fix their issues a bit faster. I wish I could say i was 100% satisfied with them, but don't like to have outages and then have to beg to get reimbursed for the days I was without internet.

WE have Telenet and i highly recommend them. I phoned them and they let me choose the day when i wanted the technician to come in. After 3 days i had my internet.

We were with Mobistar on the beginning, when it worked is OK, but they must have the worst customer service in the world! I was so disguistied with them, I went with other company.
I have been with Base.be for 2 years, good customer serivce, but they are no longer offering internet (or at least they re-brand it to '"Snow"'). The maximum performance offered with Base/Snow is not impressive either.
In few days I am switching to Scarlet.be, good reviews, very good prices, nice speeds. Telenet is good, fast but expensive. Belgacom crappy deals.

We've been using Scarlet for 3 years, it works well. Occasionally it's slower than advertised, but overall for the price it's a good deal and their customer service is good.

I know this is an old post, but I have more or less the same issue. Just moved to Brussels, and already have terrible experiences with Belgacom. So I would like to switch providers asap.. Got so far my info from http://moving-tobelgium.be/internet-providers-belgium/ and they advice also Scarlet? Does anybody have experience with this provider in Brussels Ganshoren?

Hi Simon, Had the same issue when moving to Brussels.. I would say Scarlet internet is fine. I chose Scarlet internet (poco), which is cheap and works good for me. I chose this one and so far I have good experience with it and I live also in Brussels.. I don't know if you can speak Dutch but you could also look on this website: http://moving-tobelgium.be/ They offer advice about the possible connections that are available on the market. Good luck and maybe see you in the city!

sorry, my bad I just see that I copied your link instead of the website I intend to post.. The website I meant was; http://internet-providers-belgie.be/. it's like above mentioned more or less the same as aanbieders.be since it's in Dutch. Hope it works out for you!
