Internet without landline
Scarlet has the least expensive service (no landline or TV) €25 per month.
Or you ask someone with a fixed line account to loan you their login for wifi, if you see Proximusfon under possible wifi, you find a Proximus customer. Then it is free and your friend pays!
Mobile data packages can be quite cheap here (e.g. Mobile Vikings offer 4GB for 15e, to be used within a month) - if you just want basic usage, could you get a Belgian SIM card and use tethering?
(n.b. my advice would probably be a better solution if your problem is temporary rather than permanent)
I disagree with the post above about mobile Vikings as far as mobile data it's fine I think but call costs are horrendous from them.
Avoid proximus at all cost and I have no idea why shortof thinks neighbours will pay for your wifi!
Telenet and Scarlett are both worth checking out. Also depends if you need a PC Base offer something called MIFI which means you use your phone to set up a wifi hotspot but I'm not clear how good this is.
Nonsense, call costs are not horrendous from Mobile Vikings.
Please give an example of what you are comparing with.
