You can have your invoiced 'taxed' (this is the legal term) and I would suggest you call the Brussels Law Society to find out the steps. However, sometimes the taxing finds that the invoice is fair and so you will have to abide by that decision.

I know how hard it is to accept even the disbursements which seem very expensive but that's litigation for you ........... Good luck!
