Kitechen Hood started making lot of noise, need some one who can repair / service it
Hi Friends,
Suddenly my Kitchen hood started making a lot of noise and stops working after 5 minutes, it again starts working if i switch it on after 20-30 minutes but again after 5 minutes it does the same thing and stops working.
Can anyone suggests some electrician or handyman who cna fix /service the kitchen hood.
Its of wierd brnad "Zafir" (i live ina rented house), so wasnt able to call the service center (didnt found one for this brand)
Before calling in - and paying money to - an electrician, why not try to find out what is happening?
Typically anything electric which stops but then can be restarted after a time has an automatic cut-out to prevent damage. Again, typically, this will be to prevent overheating.
Does the hood have a filter? Most do.
Can the filter be cleaned? Many can.
Does the filter have an element which needs to be replaced from time to time? Some do.
Rather than looking for a service centre, look online for a set of instructions.
