Lamparis bill problem
Hi, I just recieved my annual electric bill after the meter reading. My 2014 consumption was almost the same as 2013, just a few kws less infact. Despite the fact that the TVA was at the new lower rate of 6%for most of the year, I was amazed to see that on top of my 12 payments they need an extra 850 euros. I noticed that the cost for transport and distribution this year is 994 euros..more than the cost of my electric. In fact the transport costs have gone up 100%. Anyone else having the same problem ?
I'm with ENI and the cost for distribution is half my bill -- around 20 cents per kw for distribution and 20 cents for the electric -- shade over 40 cents per kw (night rate)
I just moved from lampiris but the new company is not to be trusted either. I think the government need to legislate to protect consumers. I was accused of not paying a bill 6 months back and was passed on to debt collection agency, fortunately I have the receipt for that month, but now Lampiris bills are issued in the name of the debt collection agency and as i don't want any othername to appear on my receipts I moved. something is going on i guess.
If you think that the consumer is being ripped off, it would be good to report these cases to Test-Achats, or the RTBF 1 programme On n'est pas des Pigeons. Test-Achats recommends from time to time that consumers change their energy suppliers to get better deals.
Unfortunately you have no say over your distriution costs. They are fixed and depends upon the place where you live. They will be same irrespective of the supplier.

Best is to ring them, their invoices which they sent are not transparent. Everything is put under the same header. Ask them personally to make a break down for you and explain what it all is.
