Question

Hello - I am intending to make an application for Belgian citizenship. I am an EU citizen working for EU institutions. I have been living in Brussels for over eight years now. However, I was on a 'Special ID' at the beginning and have been officially registered at the commune for three years. I would like to consult a lawyer while filling out the application forms, in order not to make a mistake. Can you recommend any lawyer in Brussels that can help me in preparing my application for Belgian citizenship?

If you're working for the EU institutions, why on earth would you want to take Belgian nationality? You'll lose your travel allowance, travelling time and expatriation/foreign residence allowance!
