Light bulbs

Question

Why are light bulbs so expensive? IKEA sells them cheaper. Can you suggest anywhere else for good quality cheaper light bulbs? Thanks/

It is very expensive here because there are far too many greedy money hungry policicians and government civil servants.
Even the EU officials have told Belgium to decrease the number of politicians and government civil servants, but nothing has been done.

Try Leroymerlin http://www.leroymerlin.fr/
Think about an alternative.
LED strips are also great. I purchased a 5 meter strip; I cut it into smaller pieces and stuck it on the ceiling and connected the negative and positive wires to the socket. Price was about €30 & comes with 5 year guarantee. Costs less than €5 per year . A decade later the LED strips are still working.

I find it very hard to orient myself in these LED bulbs.. I've bought one from Ikea and one (more expensive) from Philips with the same number of W but the Ikea one was pretty dark and the angle was narrow.

I went o Brico to buy a bunch of LED lights as my flat was getting a bit dark. 20EUR each! After thinking for a while I remembered a lighting shop called Jacjy Diffusion (stupid name, I know) between Fernand Coq and Porte de Namur, found the buld I needed as 4EUR.... you coud try theere. OK 4EUR is still pricey, but these bulbs last a couple of years...

I usually do shopping online and try to buy things like light bulbs online from different stores. The https://www.australian-writings.net/ help me in case I want to know reviews about something urgent.
