Looking for a chihuahua or other small dog

I would like to adopt a chihuahua or other small/toy dog. I checked the animal shelter websites in Brussels, but there seems to be a shortage of toy breeds. Does anyone know of where I can find one? Maybe someone is moving out of country and can't take their canine buddy with them? Our family will give a little dog a very good and loving home.
