Luminus-Electrabel issue

Question

Hello.

Is anyone aware of the fact that there are Luminus agents going to houses pretending that they have taken over the files of Electrabel (which, as they claim, has moved to France) and making people sign transfer contracts?

We get reps every few weeks -- seems to be like the UK a good few years ago when the market there was deregulated -- Every time "we are doing a survey" -- which turns into a sales pitch.

I don't mind if people are straight -- Ie "We work for XXXX company and we believe we can save you money on your utility bill" What gets me is the fibbing to get the foot in the door.

The honest approach does work-- we did change our supplier via a salesman who was "upfront".
