Does anyone know about how to go about making a will in Belgium? I am told that if you are single with no children, all your assets will go the state in the event of your demise.

If you have no children or spouse then under Belgian law the next in line inherit - parents, brothers, sisters. You should speak to a notary for a full explanation.
