Marrying in the EU

Question

Does anyone know of any source of info were you can find the laws regarding marriage.
Basically we are drawing up a pre-nup divison of goods BUT as I have kids from a previous relationship my future spouse could be in theory/extreme cases financially responsible for my kids in extreme cases.
Thanks in advance.

You can only get married in the country in which one or other (or of course both) of a couple are resident. Presumably that in the current case is Belgium and, yes, the new spouse does, in extremis, take on responsibility for any previous children - which is just as it should be.
Any notaire/notaris will confirm this.

As Becasse notes, you should speak to a notaire. However, it appears that you've already asked this question under a different pseudonym just a couple of weeks ago.
