I'd be interested in knowing a little bit more about what you have in mind etc. I'm a fair distance from Overijse but I'm open to learning more.
What things do you like doing? This may well help. Walking, art, sport? I think that what kaisserstamper means do you want male or female friends both?
Also have you thought about meeting people via volunteering places like CHSS are always after volunteers or serve the city
What I had I mind, apart from wondering whether you care about whether you get male or female friends, was some clue as to your situation - a married lady might not particularly want to share her coffee with a group of unattached men for example.
Similarly, a widow/widower/someone living alone might be interested in a day at the coast or in the Ardennes whereas someone living at home with a partner and/or family might not.
Heathie I'm in overijse what kind of things interest you? Walking? Craft? Art? General chat? Do you have a dog? I have two maybe you could join us on a walk. Also not entirely my kind of thing but there is a women's commonwealth club? i think that the name over near kraaineem I know they do lots of social activities also there used to be a lady circl in Waterloo and I have thought a few times about trying to set up one in overijse. They use different to meet in an evening once a month and people made frimds that way and then would find people more like them to have more contact with.

Also if you drive the American women club also take nome US memebers if awc isn't your kind of thing
