Money transfer and currency broker/foreign exchange services

Question

Hi,

Do you have any experience of using a currency broker/foreign exchange services for money transfer between two European countries with one in the Euro zone and the other not vs your regular bank? If so what is your experience and any agency you can recommend? I came across TorFX and have no references or opinion.

Many thanks!

dani

I've used XE Trade for several years and have no complaints. I've found it the cheapest and fastest to transfer money between countries. Using them saves me about €40 per transaction compared to my regular bank. They have no transaction fees, no commissions, and a very competitive rate.

Though if you find a better one, I'm not at all loyal and I'd love to hear about it! :)

I too would use a currency service over a bank as the fees are lower and rates better, but I would stay with something like XE Trade as there are a number of cheeseballs out there.
