Moving to Belgium
I am a single mother with a 6 year old who was diagnosed with mild autism. We currently live in the Philippines but plan to move to Belgium soon, hopefully July 2023 (both of us are Belgian citizens). I would like to know what the programs and fees are for special education and if there would be any suggestions and what the fees would entail. Any information regarding special education for primary school (one that would hopefully not cost too much...) would be really helpful. Also, my son and I only speak English, so I'm still planning to learn the language.

Also, as you plan to come here in just over a year, you should immediately enroll yourself and your child in intensive French or Dutch courses (depending on where you eventually want to live in belgium), so that you both can speak the langauge before you get here.
