Net maternity pay

Question

I'm having difficulties understanding how the maternity pay system in Belgium works. Specifically, I do understand that for the first month I receive 82% of my full salary and then for the subsequent months I receive 75% of my salary or a cap of around 96 EUR per day. My question is on this 96 EUR per day - does anybody know what this amounts to net? I know I need to claim this through my mutuality and they were able to give me the capped daily amount but not able to answer how much roughly this equates to net. Thanks in advance for advice

Nan

If I remember correctly, you are taxed 6-7% on the 96euros a day.... but the tax man can ask for more back at the end of the year.
