New lock

On square ambiorix, right next to the immo agency that is on archimede road (next to Spanish shop), there is a key making place; I've only used them to make keys, but I know my neighbor was looking to replace her mailbox key and their price was 60 euros.

If you take bus 63 down to St Josse, there is another locksmith on Rue Amedee Lynen next to La Petite Vache and he is pretty good and reliable, but not always available at the last minute. The one on Square Ambiorix i know was ready to come right away to help my neighbor.

There is another locksmith on Rue Willems, across Istanbul Grill. That one, definitely not recommended.

I meant to say neighbor was looking to replace the mailbox lock, not just the key! :)

Last year somebody in our office had her apartment broken into.

She had to replace her lock in the middle of the night and her cost was 350 and that was after calling around and the ranges were from 350 to 700 euros. Eventually she said the cheapest locksmiths were in Molenbeek. Unfortunately she want back to her country so not sure what specific locksmith she used.
