New Year's Eve

Hello all,
I might be being wildly optimistic....but can anyone suggest a good restaurant in the centre of town for New Year's Eve? I am hosting friends from out of town who are a little bit fussy - has to be reasonably cheap (yes, I know, NYE it will be impossible). Can anyone suggest anywhere that WON'T charge the earth and is reasonably central?
For post-midnight activities (ie.. drinking and partying), I presume that the usual places around St Gery will be open and won't charge a cover charge?

Sorry for the stupid questions but it's been years since I did NYE in Brussels!
