The Paul Garner Band from London, UK, is a powerful and dynamic blues trio featuring  organ, drums and some of the finest blues guitar playing you will hear anywhere. Few bands on today’s scene manage, as they do, to push the blues into new territory while remaining deeply connected to its roots.

Their music delivers a gritty, funky and energetic sound, perfectly supporting Paul Garner’s intelligent, cliché-free original blues songs. The result is modern blues that feels both authentic and refreshingly original.

Individually and collectively, the band displays a remarkably high level of musicianship, making their live performances particularly compelling. The band comprises Paul Garner on guitar and vocals, Claudio Corona on organ and Oscar Reynolds on drums.

BRBC houseband Midnight Mary will open the concert, performing their popular R'n'B repertoire, featuring classics by Muddy Waters, Jimmy Reed, Bo Diddley, Elmore James, Junior Wells, Link Wray, Big Mama Thornton, Otis Redding, Al Green and others.

After the concert there is a late blues jam hosted by Roman until 2am.

Toots Jazz Club, at 6 rue des Chapeliers (next to the Grand Place), serves a variety of excellent beers, wines and cocktails.
