A speeding ticket… and a child’s drawing

Road users caught speeding in Antwerp will receive a child’s drawing as well as a ticket. ‘Thank you for driving slower’ is the message that will appear on every drawing as part of the campaign instigated by Antwerp police. At the end of the last school year, the police asked the city’s primary school pupils to send in drawings. Of the 1,150 drawings submitted, 450 made the cut and will be printed – the police expect to send out 30,000 of them in the coming months.
