certified copy of birth certificates

Hello, I need a certified copy of my children's birth certificates (they were born in Uccle). However, the Uccle Website tells me that I need to present the originals in order to have certified copies. Unfortunately, I only have photocopies. Does anyway know I can go about getting originals? Thanks.
