How to deal with neighbors dog early morning barking.
Hello! Need advice on how to deal with our downstairs neighbor's who let their dog out on to their terrace every morning at 6:30 am and on weekends at 7:30 to bark to his hearts content. We share a common landlord and since they don't speak English, I thought of approaching him. Is there a better way? Is this allowed even - not sure since we've only been in the country for 2 months? We're in Uccle and I'm still shocked that no one else has complained about this to them. Thanks in advance!
It would be better if you sort this out like responsible adults telling them yourselves rather than involving the landlord. It's likely they are not even aware of the nuisance their dog is causing you and they'd most likely appreciate it hearing it directly from you rather than involving a 3rd party(authority figure). Your landlord would almost certainly also prefer this.
If they ignore it, you can approach the landlord I'd say
We had this problem - try talking first, or getting someone who speaks the language to talk. legally, from 7 on a weekday the dog can bark to his hearts content, and saturday. sunday he should be kept quiet.
