Residence permit
Hi all,
I am a student in Belgium and as a part of my program, I started to work in Germany since February 2013: first for my internship (6 months) and now for my master thesis (8 months) which is until march 2014. I received the Attestation de Depart (Annexe 18) from Etterbeek commune as I am going to stay more than 6 months outside of Belgium.
The issue is that my previous Belgian residence card expired at the end of October this year. But with the German work-permit and visa, I am allowed to work here in Germany until the end of March 2014 as per the contract. Then, in April 2014 I will travel back to Belgium where I need to stay until June 2014 to graduate. It is very obvious that I need a Belgian residence permit for this duration (April 2014 - June 2014).
Now being here in Germany it will not be possible for me to have a house contract in Belgium which is much needed to apply for the Belgian residence permit. I do not know what I can do in this situation. I am really looking forward for your suggestions on what can be done in this case.
Regards,
kannan

If you are studying at and graduating from a Belgian university, surely they will be able to advise. You cannot be the first student to be in a similar situation.
