help for looking after stroke victim

Question

Hello to you all,
I am looking for an English speaking person who could help look after my father who suffered a stroke 18 months ago. Help would be needed once a week so that my mother can do her weekly chores. My father suffers from aphasia and is paralysed down the right side of his body... all that is needed is someone who could sit with him and do simple activities (pushing his chair out for a walk, sewing, painting, drawing or simply reading to him)

The wit-gele kruis - or French language equivalent - is the official organisation for providing this kind of service. You have to be a member but the annual family subscription is only €18.00.

Thank you very much for your replies, I have contacted the wit gele kruis, unfortunately they cannot provide help for more than 2 hours at a time...

Just thought of an important detail... help is required in the Grez Doiceau area...
