FRENCH LANGUAGE OR SPORTS CAMP FOR 16YROLD IN JUNE
Could anyone suggest a fulltime camp or course in French for a 16 yr old in June. Or else a sports camp - football - that operates in French.
I have a 16 yr old nephew coming to stay Uccle/ Brussels to do a course to improve his French but I think Belgian schools are still operating in June so perhaps the normal 'stage' system is not operational ?. He is a great footballer so also a football stage would be good but I have no idea where to start looking. Grateful for any advice.
You will find stages starting the last week of June in many places, to cater for children at international schools and European schools and also local schools where the older children finish school a week at least earlier than the official 30th June, as they do their exams and the last week is filled for teachers with marking and deciding who is worthy of moving up a year. You might have to wait a few more weeks yet before many of the stage providers get their Summer timetables online.
This website is a good place to start, as you can narrow choices by commune, time of year, type of stage.
PS I've had a quick look and haven't yet found a football stage over the age of 14 years, might take a bit of searching or change of sport.
