Tax declaration advise needed
Hi,
I am going to submit for the first time tax declaration in Belgium for the year 2013. My partner is unemployed and I received tax exemption but not for the full year (still need to get deduction for 2 months). Also paid for this language courses entire year. Have two Q related to this:
(1) Is there a way to include all this in the tax declaration form and
(2) Whom can I turn for an advise (experts, companies) to?
Will be grateful for your advise!
D.
Each commune has somebody who can advise on different tax declaration questions.
In our commune (a Flemish one) we even sent emails in English and had appointments with a person there who took the time to help with clarifying questions on tax declaration.
It is worth trying!
In my commune - also Flemish - the local tax office has 'office hours' for about 3 months before tax declarations are due and they fill the forms in for you.
The last time I went, the guy who dealt with me - presumably seeing my obviously British surname - spoke English to me throughout.
your insurance company might do this for free- ours does.
