There are also some classes offered through Bookalokal.com but again I've not tried any of them.

I have taken private lessonss from someone. Send me your email and I will pass it on. She taught me in my home which was useful since I needed to learn what I had and how to use it. Covered all the basics. Searched recipes with me and went shopping. Made a wide variety of stuff from mexican t.o indian and chinese. Was really reasonable and done in english
