Prince Amedeo returns to Belgium

Prince Amedeo of Belgium, the eldest son of Princess Astrid, will return to live in Belgium after landing a job recently in Brussels. He currently lives in New York City, where he is completing a year of finance management training at Columbia University’s Business School.

The Prince left Belgium in 2005 to study at the London School of Economics. There he met the Italian Lili Rosboch, whom he will marry this summer. The couple moved together to New York in 2009, where Amedeo worked in the financial sector. In September last year he gave up his job at Deloitte to study at Columbia.

Princess Astrid has responded delighted that her son will return to Belgium: "For a mother, of course, this is very good news, especially with the prospect of future grandchildren." Amedeo and Lili are to marry on July 5 in Rome.
