Dumping My car
Hi ,
I have an old car which had been registered in Belgium.
I stay in the Netherlands and also the car is with me in NL .
I would like to deregister this car and also send it to demolition.
Can i remove the license plate of my car and post it to concerned authorities in Belgium ? And arrange for demolition or taking the car to the dumps here in Netherlands ?
Or do i really need to dump the care in Belgium ?
If someone stops running a car in Belgium for what ever reason - selling it, scrapping it, taking it out of the country - they send the plate back and they are deregistered from owning that car. No-one asks why they have sent the plate back or what has happened to the car and, if the car has been scrapped, they certainly don't care where.
