National Theatre Live

They definitely did it in 2011 and also in earlier years, but they seem to have either stopped now or are taking a break. They have a section on their website on the "Théâtre au Cinéma" but it only has the 2011 info. On another page, it says that the schedule for 2012 will communicated "later" (news item from 1 August 2011).

I think the Kinepolis have been very bad at advertising these events and at the moment they have all been suspended due to lack of interest. We have just missed The Audience with Helen Mirren, which was braodcast live to cinemas around Europe with the expception of Brussels. What a pity!

Yes but there is also a definite lack of enthusiasm from the English theatre groups here is Brussels and I cant understand why they don't raise public awareness of the theatre in general and support this "’jewel in the crown’. It would be a splendid forum for them to advertise their plays etc. and strengthening Brussels as a fabulous theatre going capitol.
