Subsidiary Company, New company, Purchase of existing company
I already have a company in another country and want to open one in Belgium but I do not have a degree which is apparently a requirement to open a company here.
If I open a subsidiary of my other company is this still a requirement?
If I buy an existing company is it still a requirement?
Is there someone here I can talk to about this sort of thing in English?
Thanks for any information you can give.
"I do not have a degree which is apparently a requirement to open a company here."
It is one of the things that might qualify you to be a company director. Others include having a Belgian school leaving certificate or equivalent, having completed a suitable company management course, or having been the director of a company in a different country for a certain qualifying period.

"If I open a subsidiary of my other company is this still a requirement"
No. This might in fact turn out to be a very good idea and a lot cheaper than setting up a "pure" Belgian company.

Most accountants. Ask around you for recommendations.
