Good courier to uk

Question

Hi All following an incident with the naught puppy which I won't go in too.
I'm after sending a much loved but not valuable in the monetary sense old teddy bear to the uk for repair.
Can any recommend a good courier service I can use. Ideally one that will pick up and will have parcel tracking to the uk service. I can drive to offices to stop but would rather it was easy from Overijse direction.
Also clearly would rather not pay a vast sum to do this.

Have you considered getting it repaired over here? That way you can take and collect it without third party involvement.
Some years ago my wife had a bear repaired. I can't remember much more than that though I'm reasonably certain that she got advice from the Toy Museum in Mechelen.
The website is http://www.speelgoedmuseum.be/EN/homeEN.html and, of course, they also speak English.

Thanks An issue is the material it's made of sheepskin hence the puppy being drawn to it many people won't look at these because the leather material can go brittle and be very hard to work with basically the fur has been plucked off a large area of it's face :(

Have you thought about using the post? you can send it registered mail, which includes a tracking service, and you can even insure it if you want.

Far cheaper than any other "courier" service.

Hi Anon, our experience of the belgian post isn't so positive we had a letter from the police last year containing a ripped parcel envelope that was empty and the letter said there was an investigation into stolen post and mine had been taken. Fortunately it wasn't a valuable thing they took but we also had cd etc not arrive on a regular basis.
