central Bxl, 3:00am-6:00am?

Later this week, Thursday, I will be arriving on a Eurolines bus at 3:00am to Gare du Nord, and then have to catch a train at Midi at 6:00am (I used to live in Brussels but now am just passing through).

Does anyone know if the main Brussels train stations are open 24hours? or maybe the McDonalds at Debrouckere?

I am a guy and know Brussels (though not spent a lot of time in the dead centre around the train stations at 3am), so am not too concerned about safety, more just if there is any place open to wait/have a coffee at that hour? (it seems silly to take a taxi from Nord to go see a friend still living in Brussels in the middle of the night, stay 20 min., and then have to take a taxi again to Midi!)
