Question

I would ask Proximus, but they are far from forthcoming.
So would a Netgear N300 ADSL Modem router work with a Proximus line ?
We have several m/cs in the house and I would like to put them through the aforesaid device and a GS105 switch, the latter should be no problem.
Any ideas?
Thanks for looking.

Forgot to say, I wish to keep my high level gear and its interactions seperate from the multiple domestic gear.

Why? The thing that Proximus supply is similar sort of spec.

Widening and seperating the larger system.

Once you put "non-standard" kit on the end of the proximus line, they'll have every reason not to support you. Isn't your better option to just take the proximus kit as it's supplied, and then run a router off it. That way, you have a proximus modem that they can manage, and that they will support, but behind it and in your own network you can do what you like.

You can run your "domestic gear" directly off the Proximus modem, and then run your "high level gear" from the proximus modem, through your own router / firewell or whatever configuration you want.
