School De Stadsmus in Auderghem, how is it?

Question

Hi, anybody had children in the Flamish school De Stadsmus in Auderghem?
What was your experience? How long did they attend, when, did you need to have a good level of NL to speak to the educators?

Thank you
Gabriela

Peuter

I have two kids in the school now and the third joining next year.We like the school very much. They are in the 2nd kleuter and the Peuter classes. The teachers are very motivated and caring and typically speak four languages fluently (NL, EN, FR, DE). The communication is absolutely no problem. They do a lot of great stuff with the kids, and they love the school. Most kids are not native NL speakers but they pick up the language very fast, and also learn FR, albeit a bit slower. French is spoken a lot as well informally, but if you do not speak it at home, the kids may need some additional help with time. The school got very good evaluation last year by the Flamish authorities and I can only testify it. We are super happy with the school and I wholehartedly recommend it.
