Ethical banking: Triodos

With the whole banking debacle and billions being paid out to the bondholders, a lot of us seem to want to switch from the bigger, more corrupt banks to a smaller, more ethical bank. Apparently such a thing does exist! Triodos is one of these.

Has anyone had experiences with Triodos? Is it easy to open account? Are they really as ethical as they make out?
