Household Appliance Repairs.

Question

Hi guys,
I have an electric cooker which seems to have stopped working and I was wondering if anyone knows of someone that comes round and fixes (or attempts to fix) such things. There was a Bulletin article a while ago about fixing small appliances (there being a workshop in town where you can take things along and then get help fixing them yourself) but the cooker is, well, on the heavy side.
I'm in Brussels (Etterbeek), by the way.
Cheers!
Mark.

Have you checked he use in the plug itself? Or the use in the cooker? Or the actual electricity feed?

I can come and have a look and diagnose. Possibly repair if its just a blown fuse. At least you'd know what to do. Feel free to drop me a mail on markiremonger1@gmail.com.

(Ive restored three houses from ground up, painting, plastering, wiring, interior painting etc. I do know my way round electrics, but culd not certify work, but I probably can tell you what the problem is)

No call out charge, 10EUR an hour for diagnosis and recommendation for next steps, unless I just have to replace a fuse.
