Belgium
10:49 10/12/2015
Despite the flurry of cancellations last month following the temporarily increased terror threat level across Belgium, Brussels Airlines booked 10.9% more passengers in November than in the same month last year, the company announced Wednesday in a press release.
In total, 548,060 passengers travelled with Brussels Airlines in November, 53,655 more passengers than in the same month a year earlier. European flights welcomed 9.4% more passengers, while the African network recorded a very strong growth of 25.3%. Contributing to the increase was Brussel Airlines' addition of a new African destination last month: Accra, Ghana.
The seat load factor also increased in November, by 7.3% to 72%, the airline reports.
