Taxes Payment Options

Question

I live in the Flemish area and every year I receive 2 tax letters, one with the general taxes, and the other with the Flemish Health Care Taxes (50€).

1) Is there a way to get this wired directly in my bank account? It was possible in my country of origin and I don´t understand why in Belgium we have to lose time for every single payment.
2) By the way, it is really estrange that you have to pay taxes twice. Why don´t they include the extra 50€ in the general anual tax payment?

Bedankt!

If the 2 tax letters are Income Tax and the Flemish Health Care Tax then the reason is that one comes from the Belgian government and the other from the Flemish authorities.
I don't understand the first part of your question. Are you actually saying that you want to give the authorities the right to help themselves from your bank account?
Graag gedaan!

So you are telling me that when I pay 99% of my taxes, like the obe to my town hall I pay through the Belgian government, and I pay only 50eur to their Flemish government... Poor guys, they wont do a lot LOL.
Giving the government my bank account is simpler and faster than obliging me to do a transfer... You pay the same and you save time!
