Sale of automatic car
hello - does anyone have any experience selling a car in Brussels? Can you advise whether it is better to sell privately or whether there are any large garages offering a good price for second hand cars? Its an automatic so relatively few available on the market here!

You get a better price if you sell privately. Get an accurate estimate of the book value, and that will tell you what a dealer will pay, what you should get privately, and what you'd have to pay a dealer. Use multiple sources to make sure your information is correct and what to expect.
Selling privately should get you 20-25% more than the dealer price.
Remember that you can't actually sell it privately without getting a special Controle Technique done, but don't arrange the CT until you actually have a buyer as the certificate only has a short term validity.
A sale to a motor trade professional doesn't require the CT.
