Cycling along route national 4

Hi, I want to cycle to the Ardennes and I planned to cycle along the N4 from Jezus-Eik (I wanted to avoid E411 because of the road works - I know, I know, I cannot cycle along E411, it was meant to be a joke). Anyway, the question is, am I allowed to cycle along the N4 ? I looked at the bit that is south of Marche-en-Famenne using google streetview and it looks quite fast and not cycle friendly. But I do not worry about that, all I want to know is it legal ? Thank you for any sensible answers.
