Question 1 - how fluent is your French, preferably Belgian French? That is the language they speak there.
They also speak Dutch here, you would need to become fluent in at least one of these languages to stand a chance of working in your chosen field.
"They also speak Dutch here" ....... yes, but not in (or near) Mons.
> possibility of getting a job in belgium
Zero, unless you can get your dentistry qualifications recognised by the Belgian state.
If you want to practice dentistry here you will probably have to sit your dentistry exams in Belgium.
Oops, you're right Becasse, missed the Mons bit. Will put my reading specs on next time.
Hi Soundarya,
Indeed, if you want to provide a service in Mons, you will need to speak French. It is easier to provide services using English in Brussels, but that is quite a distance from Mons. So start learning French now if you don't already speak it. You will find that there are classes available here that are specifically geared towards workplace situations, so that could help.
In terms of getting your dental qualifications recognised, you can start here: http://www.belgium.be/en/education/equivalence_of_diplomas
This could all take awhile, so you'll need plenty of patience. But it's all possible. Good luck!
